A chief Learning Officer CLO): does (s)he works at strategic or operational level?  It is irresponsible to leave Informal Learning out. Even a child of 2 year is informally learning, looking at things, exploring, smiling, giving feedback, is setting himself up for society. Most learning of human is like that: letting curiosity taking you on.  Example Intel: Employee, senior project manager, enthusiast. Wikipedia inside. Document company history. Within weeks it became THE go-to-spot. 80% of learning is informal. How can a CLO focus on 20% of the learning, which is formal?
